Pirates Baseball Chicago is a full travel baseball organization that specializes in the development of players from 9U - 18U.  Our primary goal is to prepare every player for baseball on the field but also prepare them for life off the field.  We provide every player the opportunity to be in the best position to succeed.  Our mission is to prepare each player and team for current and future successes. 

Every baseball player has a different set of skills, abilities, and tools and we focus on helping each individual player improve each day.

PERFORMANCE TRAINING

Strength, Speed and Agility Training

(High School Level)

The strength, speed, and agility program will focus on a full spectrum of athletic performance training. At the high school level, all players need to develop more strength, power, and core stability for their performance to stand out on the field. This program consists of lifting weights, core training, plyometrics, flexibility training, sprinting, resistance training, and balance/stability training.   

3 Days Per Week of Performance Training at the High School Level

Training Programs usually run from September 1 - March 1

Speed and Agility Training

(Youth Level Training)

The Speed and agility program will focus on specific movements that will help each individual player with their footwork, balance, explosiveness, power, and strength.  This program consists of functional workouts that will include sprinting, plyometrics, resistance training, core training, bodyweight strength movements, and overall balance/stability training.

2 Days Per Week of Performance Training at the Youth Level

Training Programs usually run from September 1 - April 1

COLLEGE EXPOSURE

College recruiting has become a national phenomenon and the recruiting process continues to start earlier and earlier.  Pirates Baseball players will play in exposure tournaments at the high school level in the fall and during the summer season.  These tournaments are great opportunities to play top competition throughout the Illinois area, and also out of state.

Pirates Baseball has partnered with Elite Level Prospects to offer individual player profiles for all players 14U - 18U, exposure to college programs across the country, and to provide 4+ showcase opportunities per year.  The showcases will be an opportunity for all players ages 14U - 18U to get player videos, data analysis, and update their previous data. Showcases will highlight the 60 yd dash, hitting exit velocity, position throwing velocity, pitching velocity, fielding and throwing video, pitching video, and hitting video!  Pirates Baseball and Elite Level Prospects continue to build relationships with colleges, universities, and coaches across the country.  Pirates players who want to play at the collegiate level will be prepared for exposure showcases, guided through the recruiting process, and most importantly - game play.
